General Terms and Conditions for Wedding Speeches and Ceremony Design (GTC)

1. Subject of the Agreement

As a freelance wedding officiant for Andreas Fasold Wedding Speeches and Photography, Calle Sa Farinera Vella 4 in E - 07650 Santanyí, Andreas Fasold will conduct the wedding ceremony according to the offer and booking confirmation. The booking becomes binding upon receipt of the deposit.

2. Scope of Services and Fulfillment

The couple has booked the design and execution of the wedding ceremony as a package, including travel to and from the venue, travel expenses, and 21% VAT. It includes the following services:

An initial consultation by phone or in person in Santanyí, Mallorca, to discuss fundamental questions regarding the wedding ceremony. We will arrange the date well in advance.

Questionnaires for the couple about their life story and the content of the wedding speech.

Suggestions for the ceremony's structure, musical arrangements, and participants, as well as proposals for rituals and vows.

A second consultation by phone shortly before the wedding to finalize any remaining details.

Preparation and delivery of the wedding speech on the wedding day.

Unless otherwise agreed, the couple will provide a parasol/shade for the officiant. All organizational aspects of the wedding ceremony that do not pertain to the content of the ceremony, such as seating arrangements for the guests and the couple, and the decoration of the reception and altar, are the responsibility of the couple. If booked, the officiant will provide music and microphones using a portable PA system.

The questionnaires must be submitted to the officiant at least six weeks before the wedding date.

The wedding speech will not be provided in writing beforehand; it will be sent after the ceremony following a consultation. The wedding date is reserved for the couple upon receipt of the deposit. The terms and conditions and the agreement are automatically included in the data privacy consent form.

The wedding speech may not be published, shared with third parties, or recorded. Recording as part of a video clip is permitted.

3. Liability

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence.

4. Payment

4.1

The agreed fee is payable as follows:

40% within 8 days of receiving the order confirmation and invoice. The remaining 60% is due no later than 2 weeks before the wedding.

The booking of the wedding speech is binding upon receipt of the deposit.

4.2

Multiple clients are jointly and severally liable.

4.3

Travel expenses to the wedding location in Mallorca are included in the agreed price.

4.4

If the agreement is cancelled by the client before fulfillment, the following cancellation fees apply:

Up to 8 months before the wedding: 40% of the fee
Up to 6 months before the wedding: 80% of the fee
Thereafter: 100% of the fee

The wedding ceremony will only be performed by Andreas Fasold upon full and timely payment of the agreed fee, including any additional costs for the PA system.

5. Amendments to the Agreement

Any side agreements, amendments, or additions must be in writing to be legally valid. This requirement cannot be waived by verbal agreements.

6. Severability Clause

Should any provision of this agreement be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
